Ismail Qemali’s grandson, Nedin Vlora, was in Vlora today, at the Flag Raising Ceremony on the occasion of the 112th anniversary of Independence.
Nedin Vlora also met with Prime Ministers Rama and Kurti, and had a brief conversation with the latter.
He congratulated the Independence Day, emphasizing that he feels the same emotion that his grandfather felt in 1912.
Vlora also wished that Albania has an increasingly better future in the coming years.
“112 years, it’s like it was the first year for me because the emotion I see when the flag is raised is the same. It’s the same emotion that my grandfather experienced in 1912. I would like to congratulate Albania.
The past is the past, but let’s look forward to the future. I wish that Albania has an increasingly better future. Long live Albania and the Albanians!”, Ismail Qemali’s grandson told the media.
