The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, will be present at the start of the new parliamentary session. Official sources near the Presidency confirmed such news, where, among other things, it is foreseen that Mr. Begaj will also give a speech.
But this visit of the President (he is scheduled to deliver a speech at the beginning of the parliamentary session) comes at a time when the opposition has started the action to block parliamentary life, as a result of the non-establishment of the parliamentary Investigative Commissions and the non-change of the members of the Special Commission Electoral Reform. It will remain to be seen what will be the attitude of the opposition towards the President, whether they will allow him to deliver the speech or not?
Meanwhile, on the other hand, the Head of the Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, sent a letter to Bajram Begaj to return to the Assembly the law on parliamentary investigative commissions, proposed and approved by the vote of the socialists.
