After obstructing the meeting of the Electoral Reform Commission, Gazment Bardhi in a statement to journalists said that the opposition will participate, but they are not allowing it.
According to Bardhi, what was done today was simply to throw ash in the eyes of the Albanians.
Gazment Bardhi said that Prime Minister Edi Rama has no intention of holding free and fair elections, so he does not want the participation of the opposition in the commission.
“As you have been informed, another act of farce was promised between the majority and the MPs with an opposition mandate who are in the commission with the will of the majority and who act as if they intend to carry out an elected reform.
The goal was to throw ashes in the eyes of the Albanians
If they wanted reform, they should have completed it during these two years
Today, the opposition has not blocked the commission, but the majority has blocked the participation of the opposition, because it aims to block the electoral reform.
Rama has no intention of holding free and fair elections, therefore he does not want the representatives of the opposition.
The opposition will participate, but it is not allowed. The opposition will end as soon as possible, but it is blocked by Rama’s will
There are 50 members of the opposition who have lost faith in those who blocked it for two years”, Bardhi said among other things.
