Arta Dade, invited to Dritare TV, spoke about the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.
Dade says that Veliaj is a politician who represents the principles that the Socialist Party has, and that he often carries issues that do not belong on his back.
“Erion Veliaj is a hard-working boy, he often has misunderstandings because in some cases he also carries issues of the central government on his back. In this case, I refer to the National Theater because it is a national and not a municipal institution.
The biggest regret is with an opposition that goes to the doors of the municipality at a time when the opposition has all its problems with the government and not with the municipality. For me, Erion Veliaj is a man who represents those principles and that program of the Socialist Party.
I have known him for a long time as he was educated at the same time as my children and was an excellent student, so he is a boy who in life has built on his skills and has the right capacities to govern.
I used to be against him, because I supported Erisa Spiropali, but today I want to congratulate him for the image he has raised himself as mayor of Tirana and for the deputy mayors who help him.
I am glad that the citizens who go and knock on the doors of the municipality remain satisfied with the service and this is what interests us”, said Dade in the show “Dekalog”.
