A serious incident is reported to have happened in Tirana, where the scaffolding of a building under construction fell and trapped 2 passers-by.
The event took place in the area of the former Bus Park in Tirana. It is suspected that father and son who were crossing the road were injured.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the injured have been transported to the hospital. It is learned that the condition of the 70-year-old is critical, while his daughter is out of danger.
Both injured are being monitored by the medical staff.
The Tirana police escorted the engineer and two building workers to the police station on “Gjergj Fishta” boulevard.

Tirana-On 22.01.2024, at around 10:10, on “Gjergj Fishta” boulevard, the scaffolding of a building under construction collapsed, and as a result, 2 citizens (passers-by) H. L., about 70 years old, and I Sh., about 45 years old.
The two injured are in the hospital, under the care of doctors.
The building engineer, citizen K.S., and workers N.S. and A.P. were accompanied to the Police premises for further procedural actions.
The investigative team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
