A fight between prisoners in Korydallos prisons in Greece has caused one Albanian to lose his life and another to be injured.
Alfons Ndoci, 35 years old, a high risk person, convicted in Greece for murder, died at noon today in Koridhalos prison in Greece. The incident took place in sector no. 4 of the prison, where convicts for serious criminal offenses are held. In advance, it is about a violent fight between Albanian prisoners that caused the death of Ndoci and the wounding of Altin Vokrri, 46 years old from Gjakova. Numerous police forces have arrived at the Koridhalo prison to normalize the situation, while they have started investigations into the serious incident.
Ndoci is considered a high risk person. In 2014, during a robbery in a store in Elefsina, he killed the owner, whom he executed in cold blood because he simply dared to resist during the robbery. In 2018 he escaped from the prisoner transport vehicle along with 3 other prisoners. The incident happened in the port of Piraeus, where the transfer of 11 prisoners from Athens to Crete was being carried out. A few days later, he was again captured by the police, after an operation by the Greek special forces.
In June 2023, he was arrested together with citizen Gerald Jaho, after they were caught with 2 pistols, marijuana, 16 thousand and 207 euros and other banknotes of different countries, during a police chase in Athens. They were spotted in a shopping center by businessman Tonin Preka, who identified them as the people who had robbed them of 40,000 euros in Mykonos. The police arrived at the scene and conducted an episodic pursuit of them, where Ndoci got into a vehicle to escape and rammed several vehicles until he was caught. In the meantime, there was an arrest warrant against Ndoci for “robbery in collaboration” and two sentences with a total of 3 years in prison for “possession of a weapon by a prisoner” and “theft”.
Both were shot with a knife. Vokrri has injuries to his back and was transported to the hospital.
