The testimony of one of the perpetrators of the rape of lawyer Sokol Mêngjesi, an event that happened on Wednesday morning (May 29) around 08:30 in the area of the former Block, has been clarified.
The young Dorian Alia, who surrendered yesterday afternoon, a few hours after the serious incident, confessed that they went to give a “message” to the lawyer, but added that they did not know that he would receive such serious damages.
“We went to give him a message. We did not think that the situation would get so serious and the lawyer would receive such heavy damages”, testified Dorian Alia.
Meanwhile, the suspected organizer of the attack, Dritan Nano, has denied being involved in the serious event.
According to sources, the lawyer, who was brutally raped by the brothers Drivald Alia, 21 years old, Dorian Alia, 19 years old, and Elton Kasaj, 33 years old, continues to be under intensive monitoring by the resuscitation medical staff.
How did the event happen?
Lawyer Sokol Mëngjesi was brutally raped yesterday in the area of the former Block, as soon as he had taken the child to kindergarten.
The incident happened as soon as the lawyer left the boy in the garden on “Pjetër Bogdani” street in the former Block area, in Tirana. Elton Kasaj is a cousin of the Alia brothers. The incident happened around 8:50 a.m. near the lawyer’s apartment in the area of the former Block in Tirana. Meanwhile, the police seized the cameras to identify the perpetrators of the incident and the witnesses at the scene were interrogated. Once he has finished receiving the necessary medication, he will be interrogated by the blue uniforms.

According to Vocaj, lawyer Sokol Mêngjesi was raped by 4 people because of his duty.
“Sokol Mangjesi was hit because of his duty. The lawyer has legally represented a family that inherited a property in Tirana in a civil process in the first instance and in the Appeal. Process which has been acquired by the party represented by him. Some of the heirs have refused to fulfill the legal conditions of the contract signed with the law firm.
Dritan Jani Nano, a 58-year-old resident of Tirana, was accompanied, who was detained on his own initiative, suspected of being the organizer of this serious criminal event,” Vocaj said.
Also, the police are offering 20,000 euros to anyone who provides information that leads to their capture. The lawyer was sent to the Trauma Hospital in the capital, where he is receiving medical help and continues to live under intensive monitoring by the medical staff in intensive care in a serious state of health.
