Seven French tourists ended up in Lushnja hospital.
The cause was an accident that occurred when the van they were traveling with in the direction of Berat collided with a combine harvester that was moving from one side of the road to the other.
The van of the Tirana Berat line, in which tourists and other citizens were traveling, collided with the combine harvester. The police at the scene have stopped the drivers involved and are disciplining the traffic as well as documenting the event that could have a tragic outcome. Some of the tourists who have broken limbs and other body injuries are receiving medical help.
Fortunately, according to the doctors, there are no serious health problems and relevant examinations are being carried out. The national road segment Lushnjë Berat is constantly the cause of accidents as it is only two-lane and passes through an agricultural area where motor vehicles pass from one side to the other.
