The Director of Communication in the Democratic Party, Alfed Lela, compared the situation of SPAK’s investigations against the leader of the opposition, Sali Berisha, with two volcanoes in Italy, one active and the other not.
Lela says that Berisha’s file is like an inactive volcano, while many government officials are inactive volcanoes, and SPAK chooses to deal with old events without evidence, turning a blind eye to the scandal continuing in the country.
“There are two volcanoes in Italy (Vesuvius and Etna). The first one (Vesuvius) erupted for the last time in 1944. Etna is constantly active and had its last eruption last summer. The investigations that SPAK is doing to Berisha is like researching Vesuvius, while Etna is active. Etna is the government and the lava and fire of its evil deeds are not avoided. SPAK, therefore, deals with Archeology and History, not with law or justice. If they continue, let the next bosses appoint professors Neritan Ceka or Paskal Milo”
