The family members of Saimir Sula, who left the hospital in Spain without a heart and arrived in Albania without the vital organ, have protested in front of the European Parliament.
The 31-year-old’s sister, Majlinda Sula, called on the Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, to send her brother’s heart for DNA to a laboratory abroad, unable to do the test in Albania.
She says that they are ready to pay for the DNA procedure themselves, but for the transport of the heart, the authorization of the Minister of Justice is needed.
