Agron Pjetrushi, the father of the 18-year-old who lost his life in Italy two days ago, after a tragic accident while returning from his cousin’s birthday party, has rejected claims that his son was making videos on TikTok.
However, he said that he was not clear about the dynamics of the event.
“Maybe everything happened as a joke, a game that ended badly. There were five people in the car. My son’s third cousin runs it. He only had his license for two months, not much experience. But they weren’t making videos or photos to post on TikTok, as some people mistakenly said. Only the police know how it happened, after listening to the boys and confiscating all the mobile phones, but they did not find any photos or videos. “My son has never made a video for TikTok,” he said.
Interviewed by La Tribuna di Treviso, Agroni also spoke about the pain the family is experiencing.
“Lorenco was very good. Like many young people his age, he loved to play and live life. That Saturday evening I had taken him to a birthday party in Cimadolmo, with friends, which was held around 10 pm. I don’t know what happened after that. Maybe then he went out with another third cousin, yes from Ormelle, an Italian of Albanian origin. We haven’t slept for eight days,” he said.
We recall that the 18-year-old had an accident on the evening of January 20 in the square of the Cimadolmo sports facilities.
The young man was with some friends and relatives to celebrate his cousin’s birthday and what was supposed to be a game, almost a joke, turned into a tragedy.
According to the Italian media, Lorenzo Pjetrushi had climbed onto the hood of the car driven by his cousin to make a challenge and then the video would be published on TikTok
However, the cousin, driving the vehicle, performed a maneuver that was probably a bit unexpected and the 18-year-old fell to the ground, suffering a serious head injury. After a few days in the hospital, he lost his battle for life.
