Three Romanian citizens have been declared wanted by the Tirana police, as it is suspected that through computer systems they have cloned bank cards and stolen sums of money.
Within the coded operation “Goldish Ax”, the citizens F. O., 51 years old, M. M., 45 years old, A. S., 20 years old, all three Romanian citizens and residents in Romania, were identified and declared wanted.

The police operation codenamed “Goldish Axe” is finalized after several weeks of real investigative work, followed by special investigation methods.
The operation was finalized by the Sector for the Investigation of Cybercrimes in DVP Tirana, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Tirana.
They stole sums of money by interfering with the computer systems, by producing cloned cards, stolen cards and by damaging ATMs, with strong means, to interfere with their systems, in 2 different financial institutions.
3 Romanian citizens are identified and declared wanted.
2 remaining attempted cases and 4 thefts of this nature committed by these 3 citizens are clarified and documented with legal evidence.
Specialists of the Sector for the Investigation of Cybercrimes in DVP Tirana, in the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Tirana, following the investigations for the documentation of the events that occurred on 09.12.2023 and 06.01.2024, where attempted and stole several ATMs of financial institutions in Tirana, immediately organized the work to identify and bring to the fore the legal responsibility of the suspected authors of this criminal activity.
As a result of the intensive investigations carried out, the following citizens have been identified and declared wanted:
F.O., 51 years old, M. M., 45 years old, A. S., 20 years old, all three Romanian nationals and residents of Romania.
From the intensive investigative actions carried out, it was found that these citizens, on 09.12.2023 and 06.01.2024, attempted to steal and also stole, by interfering with computer systems, with cloned cards, cards stolen in the states foreigners and damaging some ATMs in Tirana, sums of money, in some ATMs in the capital.
Also, from the investigative actions carried out, it has emerged that these citizens are the perpetrators of 2 pending cases, 1 theft on 06.01.2024, and 3 other thefts, which occurred on 09.12.2023.
Investigations continue for the complete documentation of these criminal events and the identification of other possible perpetrators involved in this activity.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further procedural actions.
