Doctor Ilir Alimehmeti was invited to Albano Bogdo’s show, “2984” on Vizion Plus.
For Albano Bogdo, he said that it has not yet been decided who will be the opposition candidate against Prime Minister Rama in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Doctor Alimehmeti holds the position of head of the Health Department in the Democratic Party.
Ilir Alimehmeti: We have had very few regular elections. One of them was 2013. It is difficult for us as the Albanian people to have a history of having regular, accurate elections. The word party-state was for the first time in 2021. We are in these conditions and we must leave.
Albano Bogdo: Will you be on the electoral lists as a candidate?
Ilir Alimehmeti: We will see!
Albano Bogdo: Do you enjoy being there?
Ilir Alimehmeti: It is not a matter of pleasure. I would like our country to be in order, to have things in order. Don’t get discouraged, there is electricity, there is water, there is traffic, there is no traffic. That way I would be very good at my job.
Albano Bogdo: Who will you nominate as a candidate to face Rama to make this change?
Ilir Alimehmeti: It has not been decided yet.
Albano Bogdo: Do you think that the DP has a person who is capable of making this change?
Ilir Alimehmeti: Of course there is!
