Gjat\u00eb periudh\u00ebs pasuese, u regjistruan gjithsej 5.400 raste t\u00eb s\u00ebmundjeve kardiovaskulare, p\u00ebrfshir\u00eb 1.302 goditje fatale dhe jo-fatale, 1.897 incidente t\u00eb d\u00ebshtimit fatal dhe jo-fatal t\u00eb zemr\u00ebs, dhe 113 vdekje t\u00eb tjera p\u00ebr shkak t\u00eb s\u00ebmundjeve t\u00eb zemr\u00ebs. 6.132 pjes\u00ebmarr\u00ebsish t\u00eb tjer\u00eb n\u00eb studim vdiq\u00ebn p\u00ebr shkaqe t\u00eb tjera.<\/p>\n<p>Konsumi i 300 mg kolesterol dietik n\u00eb dit\u00eb shoq\u00ebrohet me nj\u00eb rrezik 3.2% m\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb t\u00eb s\u00ebmundjeve t\u00eb zemr\u00ebs dhe nj\u00eb rrezik 4.4% m\u00eb t\u00eb lart\u00eb t\u00eb vdekjes t\u00eb parakohshme.
