An 18-year-old Albanian has lost his life in Italy, 9 days after he was hit by a car while doing a challenge on the social network TikTok.
Lorenzo Pjetrushi fought between life and death for nine days, hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Ca’ Foncello hospital in Treviso, but yesterday afternoon, January 29, he lost the “battle”.
The 18-year-old had an accident on the evening of January 20 in the square of the Cimadolmo sports facilities.
The young man was with some friends and relatives to celebrate his cousin’s birthday and what was supposed to be a game, almost a joke, turned into a tragedy.
Lorenzo Pjetrushi climbed onto the hood of the car driven by his cousin to make a challenge and then the video would be published on the “Tik Tok” social network.
However, the cousin, driving the vehicle, performed a maneuver that was probably a bit unexpected and the 18-year-old fell to the ground, suffering a serious head injury.
The young man was rushed to hospital at Ca’ Foncello in Treviso, but died on Monday.
