The chairman of the Agrarian Party, Agron Duka, said this Tuesday in Euronea Albania that the unification of small opposition parties does not have the purpose of factoring in Sali Berisha as chairman.
He said that based on the age of the head of “Reestablishment” he does not have a political perspective while adding that the goal of this union is for the opposition to be stronger in the face of the majority in the 2025 elections.
“Biologically, Berisha has no perspective, there is no way he can, because he is 80 years old. I don’t think that the opposition’s ideas were such, for the unification of as many parts of the opposition as possible, that the small parties did not take the initiative.
The idea is not to factor Berisha, but the idea is to become stronger, to impose on the majority and to create synergy for winning the elections, or to get as many votes as possible. United, especially with this election code, we are much stronger than divided”, said Agron Duka.
