In recent years, we have seen a high number of tourists, who have the curiosity to visit Albania.
Although tourism has set a “record” and the Albanian government occasionally publishes statistics with the numbers of tourists entering Albania, there is definitely another side to the coin.
It is not the first time that we are faced with dirty cities, covered by garbage.
Such a denunciation has arrived today in the editorial office of Zjarr Television.
Through photos, a citizen shows us the situation in the Gjoka district, in the city of Shijak.
According to the citizen’s complaint, it has been about a month since the bins of this neighborhood have not been cleaned by the cleaning machine, and almost 7 years since the neighborhood has not been completely cleaned.
The citizen connects this negligence of the municipality of Shijak with the fact that they have right-wing political beliefs.
He points out that even though they pay the cleaning-greening tax, no one comes for cleaning.
Citizen’s message:
“Disaster in 4 streets of Shijak. It’s been 1 month since nobody comes for cleaning. Gjoka neighborhood.
This situation has always been like this, total cleaning has not been done for over 7 years.
Maybe they do it because the Rightists are here and not the Government. But the Right also pays Taxes to the government.Green Tax, Cleaning Tax.
