The Socialist Party this morning (July 8) convened the Presidency, where, among other things, it decided the candidate for the elections in Himare, which will be held on August 4.
The majority has chosen a candidate to compete in the partial elections for the prefect of the Vlora district, Vangjel Tavo.
We recall that the president announced that this date has been considered the best alternative that reconciles the need for the preparation and development of a regular election campaign based on the circumstances and the load that the summer season brings to the municipality of Himara.
Currently, this municipality is led by the mayor Commander Arqile Bollano, after the resignation of Blerina Bala on June 5. Jorgo Goro was previously in office, who was arrested by order of SPAK on March 23.
Also at this meeting, it was decided to postpone the Congress, which was scheduled to be held on July 20, to July 27.
