Prime Minister Edi Rama has described as false the news that he will place lecturer Mark Marku in charge of the reform for the transparency of institutions towards citizens and the media.
Rama states through a status on the ‘X’ platform that he is refuting the news only in respect of the fact that Marku went on the “Flasim” podcast.
The head of the government says that it is up to him to return his respect, “as a person with whom we have neither the same political convictions, nor dependencies of any nature in our affairs”.

Of course, there are a lot of such lies in the channels without filters or minimal hygiene that inform the Albanians, but I make this refutation only out of respect for the fact that Mr. Mark Marku has come to the FLASIM Podcast as a citizen and it is up to me to return his respect, as a human being with whom we have neither the same political convictions, nor dependencies of any nature in our affairs”, writes Rama.
