The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has invited Prime Minister Edi Rama to a television debate, where they can say things about each other to the face. From Lezha, the former prime minister declared that Rama should explain to pensioners why the pension in Montenegro is higher than in Albania.

Berisha stated that the Democrats are tolerant and that from the day of their founding until today, ‘we came and are going safely towards victory, because we never fell into the traps of others, but we remained tolerant of different opinions, of different attitudes’.

“And I say it here in front of you. As long as you sit and talk to yourself in the car, talk as much as you want, but let’s go out into the men’s square and tell each other things. Come on, order it on television, because that’s the rule. Let’s sit down with them and explain to pensioners why the pension in Montenegro since 2013 was lower than in Albania, today it is 450 euros. How did it go. “What Montenegro has, it doesn’t even have 1/20th of. Come on, explain to the pensioners why the pension in Macedonia is 280 percent higher than in Albania. Why the pension in Kosovo is 30-40 percent higher than in Albania,” Berisha said.
