President Vjosa Osmani has expressed her belief that the recognition of Kosovo’s independence from Kiev will come together with Ukraine’s victory.
The Head of State of Kosovo, as he arrived on the red carpet to attend the Ukraine-Southeastern Europe Summit at the Palace of Congresses, said that he has always made the request from Kiev for the recognition of independence and that he will continue to do so.
Asked if there will be a meeting with the Serbian president, Aleksandër Vucic, who is also part of the Summit, Osmani replied that “we have always had a meeting”.

Vjosa Osmani: We support the Ukrainian army Today at the Summit I will talk about the concrete steps that Kosovo is taking in this direction together with other allies and partners. We will be here until the victory of Ukraine.
These are bilateral issues, we have always made such a request and we will continue to do so with full understanding that Ukraine is in a state of emergency, in a state of war, fighting for its freedom.
