Four people lost their lives and two others were injured as a result of a triple accident on the Tepelenë-Memaliaj road axis, around 19:00 yesterday afternoon (March 17).
Citizens Riza Rapaj 42 years old, Afërdita Meta 85 years old, Lavdosh Bega 62 years old and his wife Lefteri Bega 57 years old were the victims of this serious accident.
Meanwhile, two people, Jani Meta, about 60 years old and Lavdie Meta, 63 years old, are seriously injured.
According to reports from the police, it is learned that the “Benz” type vehicle driven by citizen Riza Rapaj, 42 years old, resident of Luftinjë, collided with the “Toyota” type vehicle driven by citizen Lavdosh Bega, 62 years old, resident of Memaliaj, with whom they were traveling. two more passengers, his wife, Lefteri Bega 57 years old and Afërdita Meta 85 years old.
All four of these people died.
So, according to the Blues, the citizen with the initials E. P., who was also involved in the accident, and the 2 passengers in his vehicle, were slightly injured.

Around 7:00 p.m., on the Tepelenë-Memaliaj road axis, the “Benz” type vehicle driven by citizen R.R., 42 years old, resident of Luftinje, collided with the “Toyota” type vehicle driven by citizen L.B., 62 years old, resident of Memaliaj.
The accident involved the “BMV” type vehicle with driver E. P., a resident of Gjirokastër, which was driving behind the “Toyota” type vehicle.
As a result of the vehicle collision, the citizens R.R. and L.B., as well as the 2 passengers who were in the “Toyota” type vehicle, the citizens L.B., about 57 years old (the wife of the citizen L.B.) and A.B., about 85 years old, lost their lives.
Citizens L.M. and J.M., who are receiving medical help at the Gjirokastër Regional Hospital, were also injured.
