The director of the “Pashko” liberal institute, Ervis Iljazaj, debated with the former minister of justice Ylli Manjani in the studio of the show “Now with Erla Mëhillin” in Euronews Albania, about the appointments that Prime Minister Edi Rama is making in the ministry and the creation of the ministry of cloud.
According to Iljazaj, in a certain place the culture should be returned profitable, which was opposed by Manjani who took the Butrint project as an example.
Excerpts from the debate:
Iljazi: I am not against this culture and economy. In a certain place the culture must be restored profitably. We must get away from the mentality of communism where culture is made by the state. There must come a moment in Albania when art, culture must produce economy. There are certain places.
Manjani: Have you seen the Butrint project? It’s a cottage show.
Iljazi: The idea here is that we should turn art and culture into a market.
