The Heritage Forum has posted a photo of Neritan Ceka in a meeting with Ilir Paragonon, who, according to the forum, wants to take over the management of Bylisi Park. For Parangon who worked with the AADF, the Forum says that there is no publication and wants to get the approval of Ceka, who was the archaeologist who excavated Bylis.
Full reaction:
Prof. Neritan Ceka, an archaeologist with international reputation, publisher of dozens of archaeological and historical books. Head of archaeological campaigns for several decades. The archaeologist who unearthed the Ancient City of Bylis. Director of the Institute of Archeology immediately after the fall of Communism.
One of the founders of the Democratic Party, under the Chairman of the Assembly. Founder of the Democratic Alliance Party. Internal Minister. Ambassador of the Republic of Albania in Italy. Member of the Academy of Sciences. Recently Chairman of the Scientific Board of Butrint funded by AADF.
(One of the public opponents of the concession formula of Butrint as a National Park for AADF (Albanian American Development Fund) in a working cafe with a character named.
Ilir Parangoni. An unknown name in the field of Cultural Heritage without any contribution. No published works. No scientific publication in archaeology
AADF employee and one of the unscrupulous servants of the scheme of taking over the administration of Butrint Park or other AADF parks. Known only for the threatening letters he sent to international specialists who spoke against the way the AADF wanted to kidnap Butrinti. Threatening the state employees of Butrint Park, this act was denounced by Deputy Ina Zhupa.
Now, by order of the AADF and apparently with the blessing of Prof. Ceke, they want to put the Bylis National Park under the administration of the AADF.
It must be said that the Project for the Ancient City of Bylis is financed by a grant of 6 million euros from the Office of the European Union, implemented by an Italian NGO and where one of the most critical voices against this Project has been Prof. Neritan Ceka.
