Tomorrow is the last Sunday of October and the clock will change. Scorpios will return 60 minutes later. As is usually the case, the change takes place around 03:00 AM, going back to 02:00 AM.
This gives us one more hour of sleep at night, but also brings one hour less light during the afternoon, as dawn will be later and sunset will occur an hour earlier.
We will all need to move the hands manually only on the analog clocks we have in our homes, because mobile phones and other electronic clocks make the change automatically.
Sun time will remain in effect until the last Sunday in March 2025, when daylight savings time will resume at 3:00 a.m., with the hands going forward 60 minutes.
The determination of the time change never has a fixed date, in both cases, but is always applied on the night between Saturday and the last Sunday of October and March. Despite the controversies that have accompanied the seasonal change of time for several years, nothing has yet been decided by the EU.
The discussion was about keeping in force only one legal clock, to save electricity, why it was adopted since the first time, or keeping the solar time regime.
But, precisely for energy saving, the impact on the economy or even on the environment, as it brings a reduction of CO2, has influenced the non-continuation of discussions, as it should be a unanimous decision for all EU countries.
