The vice-president of Reestablishment, Luciano Boçi, said that the invitation to Lulzim Basha to become part of the opposition group is always open, but emphasized that “he continues to be a crutch of the government”.
In a press conference, the former PD deputy stated that Lulzim Basha is serving Rama with his legal positions and proposals.
“The call is open not only to the democrats but also to the deputies. Those MPs who are currently in the Basha section are invited to become part of the PD and this unifying initiative. It should be the main solution of an opposition, to come together in battle.
Basha is a member of parliament and the moment he starts to be in opposition and will prove this with opposition action, with union for the PD, he is always invited. In the moments that he continues to be a crutch of the government, serving it with legal positions and proposals, such as the defamation law, I don’t think he has the desire to become part of the opposition front. The invitation is open to every democrat and every other deputy to join the PD in its action and the union with other allied parties”, he said.
