Former Prime Minister Fatos Nano has been hospitalized again in a private hospital in Tirana, after suffering a broken leg.
The former prime minister underwent a surgical intervention today, which ended successfully.
Today, it was announced that the operation was completed with the medical realization of the placement of a partial prosthesis on the leg, after the injury he received under unknown circumstances and dynamics.
Nano will continue to stay in the hospital for full rehabilitation according to the doctors.

This is not the first time that the former prime minister has been hospitalized, since almost a year ago, he spent several weeks intubated due to a complication that spread to his lungs.
The historical leader of the Socialist Party underwent an intubation, as he had a chronic respiratory problem, also known as COPD, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
At that time his condition was very serious, but with the care of doctors he managed to pass that difficult period for his health.
