Moderator Arian Çani stated that Prime Minister Edi Rama has broad international support, with the sole justification of maintaining stability.
Çani made his comments on the show “Now with Erla Mëhillin” on Euronews Albania, where he said that Rama is very tolerant and added that if he himself were in the position of prime minister, he would close the Parliament and no one would hold him accountable.
He warned that he is afraid of what will happen when Rama wins the fourth term and raised the question of how Albania will be after 2025, more of a ‘monarchy’, or will it continue as it is currently.
“I’m thankful that it’s all that. If I were in Rama’s place, I would have closed the Parliament. There is unprecedented international support for being stabilocrats. There are several countries in the world working tirelessly for stability in the Western Balkans.
So to keep the crowds under control. Rama was smart and understood the game. If I were like Rama, now I would say the name. Rama is tolerant. In this situation, Rama should do more than that, he has all the support to do it.
We must say thank you to Rama. Remember what will happen in the fourth term. It terrifies me if you go back in time and analyze the present with past precedents. Will this country be a monarchy after Rama’s third term? This is the question I raise”, said Çani.
