Journalist Arian Çani has stated that Edi Rama is the only prime minister in these 30 years who has understood that foreign policy is the only domestic policy.
Çani made the comments on the show “Now with Erla Mëhillin” on Euronews Albania, where he said that Rama has raised the bar and is playing hard.
He also said that with the summits and relations that Rama has established with internationals, no one expected it and added that the prime minister has worked hard to achieve this.
“All traces lead to Edi Rama. Rama is probably the first prime minister in these 30 years who has done what Iljazat’s thesis is, which means he has realized that foreign policy is the only domestic policy.
Rama realized that since he is the prime minister of a really small country, he said to himself ‘I am raising the bar too much, I am playing too hard’. So, as it were, I create a new fable. With these summits, with the relationships he has created himself, no one expected this.
Rama has invested a lot to reach this day. I don’t think the same as Ervis who says that Albania is a small country, we don’t have the power to do it… You tell him, they say you will do this thing and he does it, I say no”, said Çani.
