While the Top Story studio was discussing the issue of Himara and the August 4 elections, researcher Ardit Bido and Fredi Beleri’s representative, Skerdjan Dhuli, burst into insults at each other.
Bido told him that he works for Vorio Epiri, while Dhuli came back telling him that he should wash his mouth before saying something like that about him. But the debate went even further with the use of insulting words, when Dhuli said to Bido, “kellire”, and the latter demanded his departure from the show.
Excerpts from the debate:
Dhuli: In the penultimate show, I said, in this studio, I said that I would prefer the lab candidate. I have also proposed this in our discussion circles. Why have I proposed such? Even with the risk that we could lose that race. What did this risk? It risked turning that electoral race into an Albanian-Greek battle.
Bido: And now you chose a vorio-epiriotist.
Dhuli: No, this has nothing to do with it.
Bido: So that it doesn’t turn into Albanian-Greek, let’s support Vorio Epirin. You rightists, conservatives.

Bido: You can win with Albanians, you can win with people who are patriots of that area, who have shown that they win the votes. Why are you trying today with vorio-epir, why are you supporting vorio-epir today? That is the question.

Today, you, the opposition, chose to support a person who works for vorio-epir. You did not choose a Himariot, Albanian or Greek from Himara who does not work for a foreign country and is not anti-Albanian.
Dhuli: You don’t understand this, because you have no connection with that area at all. He talks in vain.
Bido: Am I not related to that area?
