Journalist Arian Çani commented on the Now show on Euronews Albania about Prime Minister Edi Rama’s visit to Tirana Municipality on the occasion of awarding the title of Honorary Citizen to Ali Ahmet.
As this visit comes after Veliaj’s appearance at SPAK two days ago, Çani said that he does not believe that Rama has “released” Veliaj, because otherwise, according to him, he would have avoided this ceremony, which he could have organized elsewhere and not in the municipality .
“I defend the hypothesis that for me Rama has not released Veliaj and I have a reason to think so, that Veliaj is one of the great cornerstones for the campaign for the upcoming elections and I make a simple calculation, this SP leadership does not hide the game anymore, it doesn’t go with the honesty card. They are going with the card that the fault is individual, if you have something for me, says Rama, go to SPAK, Veliaj is doing the same. If he sold it, does he care? Who will be his battle horse 1 year before the elections, Veliaj has created a strong structure, also economic. If he had sold it, Rama would not have gone to the municipality today at all, he could change the protocol and organize the ceremony in another place”, said Çani.
