Young Hygerta Meta is under the care of doctors after having health problems.
19-year-old Hygerta Meta, who a month ago together with her brothers killed and buried their father, Pëllumb Meta, in the cowshed, has been hospitalized in the Prison Hospital for more than a week.
According to Newsbomb, the young woman is under the care of doctors after showing health problems. The doctors have decided that the young woman should undergo a psychiatric-legal examination in order to understand if she suffers from mental health problems.
Meta himself has taken different positions regarding the murder, first taking responsibility for the crime, and then denying it. The three children are still being held under protective custody pending the completion of the investigation.
The 49-year-old Pëllumb Meta was executed on February 10 in his apartment in the village of Shënavlash, and then his three children, Hysen, Amarildo and Hygerta Meta, buried him in the hut, in an attempt to hide the corpse. The macabre event was discovered by the police two weeks later, on February 23, after the family’s eldest son, Hysen Meta, reported his father missing.
All three children of Pëllumb Meta are under arrest as the eldest son, Hysen Meta, is accused of “murder in family circumstances”, while Hygerta Meta is accused of hiding and disposing of the corpse. The same accusation applies to the other son of the family, Amarildo Meta.
