A serious event was recorded in Korça yesterday, where 75-year-old Eleni Vangjeli and her 54-year-old daughter Ornela Vangjeli were found dead inside their apartment in district 17 of the city of Korça.

He has shown off camera that he talked to his sister on Saturday. Meanwhile, on the same day, the girl took her mother to the hospital because she had low oxygen. They told him to admit the elderly woman there, but the girl refused to admit her to the hospital. They returned to the apartment and then nothing is known about what happened.
The first suspicions are that they died on Sunday, when they lost contact with their family members. The girl may have suffered an attack, while the mother died after her, unable to move, and due to the lack of medicine in the apartment.
It is reported that the girl was a teacher by profession in Vithkuq, the brother who lived in Greece came to the apartment himself and found them dead in the apartment after the intervention of the firemen to open the door.
“On 01.02.2024, around 16:42, in neighborhood no. 17, Korçë, in the apartment, citizens E. V., 75 years old, and her daughter O. V., 54 years old, were found dead, without signs of violence. From the first data, it appears that these citizens had not answered their phone calls to their families for several days.
The door of their apartment was opened by the fire services, as it was locked from the inside. In advance, it is suspected that these two citizens may have lost their lives due to natural causes.
The investigative group is working to determine the causes of the loss of life of these citizens and to clarify the circumstances of the event,” the police announced about the event.
