It is known that the husband of the deceased, Xhemal Loka, arrested in connection with the incident, has testified that in the last moments of his wife, she apologized to the latter for the suicide.

“There are several videos that were found from the phone of Xhemal Loka, the husband of the late Bedrie Loka. He had hidden the phone in his sister’s apartment, but it was found by the police. The videos were filmed by the 10-year-old boy, and it was this video that the family members again testified to the police. Even the eldest son of the family witnessed the psychological violence perpetrated by his father on his mother. There are other videos on the seized phone, but the one published is more significant.
Xhemal Loka has never admitted that he abused his wife, even according to him, the deceased apologized to him when he was mentioned in the hospital. “I’m sorry that I took this action,” the 41-year-old told her husband, according to the latter. “Xhemal Loka was denounced as the author who killed his wife by Bedria’s family members,” reported journalist Klodiana Haxhiaj.
