The General Secretary of the Democratic Party of Reestablishment, Flamur Noka, says that the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party is united. In a conference with journalists, Noka was asked about a statement made by Agron Gjekmarkaj, that the Gazment Bardhi group will create a new party if the merger does not happen.
In this regard, Flamur Noka said that there is no doubt about the union of the democrats.
He declared that the process is nearing the end and the return of some democratic deputies from the USA is expected to conclude everything.
“I understand the concern, but I am telling you that it is a concern that does not last, the PD parliamentary group is united. This union is since September, it is all in action. This action has neither stopped nor will it stop. There is only one moment that we are concluding and this moment is the total union in the structures and in the PD team. There is no obstacle, there is nothing that can stop this union. There is only a panic from Edi Rama and his regime about this union.
In this panic about the union, Rama tries to do pirouettes, trying badly to comment on the statements of his colleagues. Mr. Gjekmarkaj has not said for a moment that the merger will not happen. The merger will happen. I am in daily contact with everyone, with the chairman of the group, Mr. Bardhi, Gjekmarkaj and everyone else. There is no doubt about the union.
We have said that January will be the month of unification and we are at the end of this process. We are waiting for some colleagues to return from the USA and we will concretize everything”, said Flamur Noka.
