A 24-year-old man was arrested by the police under the charge of robbery. The citizen with the initials G.M was arrested after he forcibly took a sum of money from a taxi driver, and then stabbed him with a knife.
Blue informs that the incident happened on Tuesday morning on “Ibrahim Rugova” street. The injured is in the hospital under the care of doctors,
“It was caught by the services of the Special Force Sector “Shqiponja”, citizen G. M., 24 years old, resident of Durrës.
This citizen, in the early hours of yesterday, got into a taxi on “Ibrahim Rugova” street, and during the trip, he hit the taxi driver, citizen M. K., 57 years old, with a cutting tool, stealing from him a sum of money. and then left.
As a result, the 57-year-old man was injured and is in the hospital, under the care of doctors”, – informs the police.
Following the actions, the citizen G. M. was arrested, and the materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for further procedural actions.
