A day after the opposition’s protest in front of the Tirana City Hall, in addition to several arrested protesters, the police also prosecuted political figures at large. It is reported that Klevis Balliu, Secretary for Civic Action in the DP of the Democratic Party and Tedi Blushin, Secretary General of the Freedom Party, have been prosecuted.
The police said that after the end of the protest, procedural actions were carried out, the place of the event was examined, where objects and items thrown in the direction of the Municipality of Tirana were seized as material evidence, which were sent for further forensic expertise.
Citizens Kevin Vidrica and Bernard Metaliaj were arrested in the act for the use of pyrotechnic materials, while two other persons who have not yet been identified are being sought.
So, for the violence against the police officers, the citizen Franc Kaloshi, a resident of Lushnja, as well as the citizens Klevis Balliu, Tedi Blushi, Enri Vrenozi, Dardan Bardhi, were prosecuted. Also, Avni Tobli, Rubin Dashi, Artan Muçmata, Joni Hoxha, Besim Ziri, Besar Gjeçaj, Erjon Prenga and Alfred Pellumbi have been declared wanted by the police.
