The Posaccme Prosecutor’s Office has issued nine arrest warrants for the file of the company ‘5D Konstruksion’, where it is suspected that former officials and officials of the municipality of Tirana, in cooperation with each other, have favored this company in public tenders.
Of the 9 arrest warrants, three former directors of the Municipality of Tirana have been executed with the security measure of arrest and imprisonment.
More specifically, the security measures of arrest and imprisonment have been given to the former director of Tirana’s Water and Sewerage, Redi Molla, who left office in 2020, the former director of the Territory Protection Inspectorate,
Mariglen Qato, left in 2022 and the former director of public works, Taulant Tushe.
Former directors Molla and Qato are accused of being the de facto owners of the company 5D Konstruksion, which they favored in several public procurements, while Taulant Tushe was aware of this fact, but did not report it.
Arrest warrants have also been issued for businessman Nestor Muhametllari. The measure “obligation to appear” has been given to officials Deborah Keçi, head of the Tirana sports club, Eglantina Zere, Julian Zanaj, Albano Janku and Enton Punavija.
The company 5D Konstruksion turns out to have won at least 25 tenders, of which 15 from the Municipality of Tirana, 10 from UKT and 3 from OSHEE as well as 1 from the Albanian Road Authority.
