The MP and former socialist minister, Olta Xhaçka, yesterday evening on “Top Story”, spoke at length about the project of the tourist resort in Gjileka, which was to be built by her husband. The land already seized by SPAK, while the opposition demands the removal of Xhaçka’s mandate.
She also spoke about the confrontation she had in the Constitutional Court, about the accusations of benefits from receiving the “strategic investor” status from her husband.
However, in the ongoing conversation with Grida Duma, MP Xhaçka made a mistake, saying that “we want the beach so that no one from the mountain comes to us and pitches our tent there…”.
While for years activists and citizens have been calling for more public spaces on the beaches, so that everyone can visit them, without high costs, since most of the spaces have been privatized by businesses.
“The conclusion of the contract for the use of the beach is against the fee, it is annual like all other entities. You only have priority so that someone doesn’t come from the mountain and put your umbrellas on the beach”, said the MP, among other things, on Top Channel.
