Three experts, two of whom are independent, went to the place where the murder of Pjerin Xhuvani took place in Elbasan on April 21, 2021 and reconstructed the crime scene.
According to experts, he was shot 7 times from the gun of the former RENEA operative, convicted as the author of the murder.
More shell casings were also found at the scene.
Experts at the scene will determine the direction of the shooting of the weapons on the day of the crime, the distance and the positions from which it was shot when Pjerin Xhuvanit was killed, four days before the April 2021 parliamentary elections.
The decision was taken by the Court of Appeal, which stated that an expert from the Scientific Police Institute and two independent experts would reconstruct the crime scene.
They are Arjan Hanko, from the Scientific Police Institute, Artan Rexhepi and Shpëtim Buda, independent experts.
The prosecution has set April 9 as the final deadline when the experts will present the conclusions from the investigative experiment.
