A 3-year-old child has been declared missing to the Durrës Police.
The child lived with his mother, while his father had died a year ago in a road accident. The report to the police was made by the child’s mother.
The child had gone to his grandparents, his father’s parents, but he has not been found for 4 days. This caused the mother to report it to the police, who initially arrested the child’s grandfather Rexhep Guni, 58 years old. The latter claims that the child went to relatives in Kukës, but he is not even there at the given address.
Meanwhile, the grandmother of the 3-year-old child is wanted.
The mother made the complaint because the ex-father-in-law did not respond to her, but she stated to the police that they had no conflicts and the son was taken regularly for a few hours on weekends.
This time, when the child’s mother tried to call them, they did not answer and this made the mother file the complaint.
“I am worried. I don’t know where my child is. I don’t know if it’s good. I ask the police to make it possible to find him. I don’t know why this happened, since I never prevented the child from going to his grandparents”, said the mother of the 3-year-old boy.
According to police sources, there are suspicions that the child may have been taken and left abroad. Meanwhile, a signal has been given to guard the border points.
