Unable to answer you by name, I would like to publicly thank tens of thousands of colleagues/active, reserve and retired soldiers (inside and outside the country); well-known intellectuals and journalists, dedicated patriots, ordinary citizens throughout the Albanian space, as well as the Military Attachés of NATO countries in Tirana, for the encouraging messages I received after confirmation in the political function: “Coordinator for National Security and Relations with NATO in the DP”.
On this occasion, I reiterate my respect for the media in Albania, Kosovo, the USA, etc., for publishing in the last 4 years (only from the capacity of “Expert”, i.e. without any official or political function), the 10 contributions, up to and including the messages of the end of 2024 from Washington, on the critical threats and hopes from Trump-2 for peace and the Euro-Atlantic future of the 6 Western Balkan countries, including the USA and Kosovo”.
I hope I am not unknown, not only for the major rank of “general” and the high functions that I have exercised, as Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Military Advisor to the President, and founder of the National Representation at the NATO Supreme Command, but also for the strategic assessments presented in Brussels, the NATO College, the Marshall Center and the 31 countries of the Alliance. Beyond modesty, I guarantee that I was certainly given the opportunity but nothing was given to me. On the contrary, including this political responsibility, they were achieved with dedication, integrity and accountability.
Even during the last 10 years, I have publicly and without political prejudices, supported the defense reforms, the 2% budget increase; the improvement of the treatment of personnel, the opening of the Kuçova Air Base, the establishment of the reserve force, contributions to/with Ukraine, etc.
But, I have also made strong opposition (at personal/family cost) to stop Bolshevik arrogance; for the defense budget (under 1% of GDP until 2017), for the balancing of constitutional powers [the overthrow of two laws by the Constitutional Court (which made the President a fool (as they have declared him) while the Prime Minister was both a charlatan-Commander and a full-power Commissioner]; against gifts from the Sultanate for strategic infrastructures, such as the Saranda naval base and thousands of military facilities, as well as against electoral employment in National Defense structures, such as the Korca reclamation enterprise..!
Having said this, I guarantee that even in the following political engagements, I will scream even louder for all-inclusiveness, broad consensus, balancing of constitutional powers and against the electoral abuse of National Security structures and personnel (Order, Defense, Intelligence, Emergencies, etc.).
I will also support the reforms without compromise; the 3% GDP increase in the defense budget until 2030; modernization of life, property, welfare of citizens and protection and development of national interests in the region and the Mediterranean.
Thus, from this political responsibility and any subsequent state position, I reconfirm my commitment to the military, police, emergency personnel and anyone engaged in national security and defense institutions, that the sublime sacrifices, outstanding integrity and exemplary dedication will be addressed with the dignity they deserve in the “DPSh program 2025-2033”.
Below, find 3 findings and 3 messages, which remain the focus of the political confrontation of May 11, 2025:
Message No. 1: I consider it of strategic importance and I join the legitimate concern of the majority of Albanians at home and abroad: “Albania 2025 has descended into the most serious crisis of democracy since 1990, much more ridiculous than the professional unions that Ramiz Alia offered in 1990, unfortunately also as cynical, if not more cynical, than that of Russia-Putin, Kim-Jongut, etc.”
The democratic balances of power (Check & Balance) have practically been violated, along with this the Parliamentary Republic of the Republic of Albania has fallen! In 12 years, the Assembly (except for the payroll for the salaries of the list deputies at night) has ZERO weight since no resolution, agreement or law has been approved by consensus. None!
As for the corruption of politicians and high-ranking officials, the FACTS published by “the Tiger’s own hand/No. 2 of the Criminal Organization” are outrageous, as most of the robbers of the 1st echelon (2013) or the “clear skies squad” are under the shackles of SPAK for the robbery of €430 million from the fuel, €200 million from free healthcare; €400 million for the golden roads” as well as for the gangs that order the Great President to rank in the lists of mavro-deputies, appoint party-Ministers and realtor-Directors of State Agencies, including in the Institutions of National Security and Defense.
While the power of the (super)Powerful has transformed the Institutions and State Administration, like an electoral army (200 thousand patronages and bonuses/sugar for 740 thousand pensioners), as if the Republic of Albania were Burkina Faso or Mali.
In this light, I call on SPAK to investigate “this state crime with serious consequences on pluralism, democracy, the balance of powers and National Security”!
Also, I make a very friendly appeal to the “bone-headed elite in the PS”, that in addition to remembering (like B.C) with nostalgia, the time when, for example, Nano, lobbied forums/Ata for the votes of the members of the presidency, etc., that instead of statuses/photos of “confidential cafes”, they awaken the awareness of national responsibility to stop this sect of delinquents and to re-transform the Socialist Party into a political institution that carries critical weight for functional democracy and the Euro-Atlantic future of the Republic of Albania.
Message No. 2: I repeat that I also find the actors and factors of the Official Opposition co-responsible not only for the losses in 12 years, but also for the facade democracy and the state caught up in electoral crime!
In the end, no one can triumph and be proud of the “discreet battles for/with the locks, or the scheming of the self-proclaimed head of the Atlantic, etc.”, nor of this degradation of oppositionism.
Thus, for the right, the Fatherly message of Mit’hat Bej Frashëri screams louder: “Albanians will win all wars, as soon as the battles between the Veds have ended”!
While for the protagonists of the lists as well as the Leadership of the DP, I publicly reiterate the strategic advice: “the sooner the better, they will have to come out of the trenches of the cynical war for the closed lists that unfortunately but certainly will result without winners.”
Moreover, we must gather and nobly bow before the historical mission and national responsibility that on May 11, that is, after 100 days, we will realize the rotation of power that all Albanians deserve!
Message No. 3: I repeat even more strongly (for anyone happy or sad) that I am not engaging in politics to become a broker, nor an owner, nor a prophet of the exhaustive truth that: “who is the devil and who is the angel”. But because I have decided for years not to remain silent, I am sharing this screaming concern for facade pluralism as well as digital democracy (5D).
I also need to publicly reconfirm that: “I did not line up in the opposition trenches for the “General” epaulettes, nor to be employed at the top of the list”, but because I strongly believe in the project of the Trumpist right, that is, “in the traditional family, in the sanctified Fatherland, in freedom, vote, property, market and national interests” as well as the noble mission to return the Republic of Albania to the tracks of a functional democracy like the whole of Europe.
I remain hopeful that the historic victory of Trump-2 will inspire atomic waves to liberate our Nation from the “Deep State, bureaucratic democracy and the interests of philanthropists”, which have defiled the aspirations of the 1990s and still remain a serious threat to national security and interests.
In conclusion, I make a fraternal appeal to fellow citizens (of course, also emigrants), that on May 11, 2025, it is not the turn, but the obligation and MISSION of all Albanians to liberate Albania occupied by the corruption of politicians; the lists of mavro-deputies, suicide ministers, real estate agents-Directors appointed by criminal gangs, all lined up as electoral machinery in the service of the all-powerful, if not the Majestic Sultan!
