The city of Vlora woke up under water, after the bad weather hit our country yesterday. The most alarming situation was in the region of Vlora, where intense rainfall caused major floods. The 33 evacuated families spent the night away from their homes, while the Municipality of Vlora accommodated them in a dormitory. It is about at least 55 people in total from 33 families.
The situation remains more problematic in some neighborhoods, ‘Albano and Romina’, ‘Leg Sallat’ neighborhood, ’28 Novemberi’ neighborhood, Mosque area, Mosque area, ‘Kushtrim’ neighborhood, ‘Rilindja’ neighborhood, ‘Skela’, ‘Independence’ ‘, ‘Hasan Kushta’ street, ‘Gjergj Araniti’ street, the axis near the Orthodox Church and the public library, as well as part of ‘Ismail Qemali’ boulevard. There is still no balance of damages caused to businesses and homes, while the local authorities are expected to start with an analysis.
Vlora was under water yesterday, while the crack in the high water channel caused the water to flood through the city, the main business and residential districts, causing damage.
