Adriatik Lapaj has explained in a reaction on Facebook the reason why he placed his father Ferman Lapaj, as the candidate for deputy on the closed list, leading in the Berat district.
According to Lapaj, the closed lists of the coalition “Initiative – Albania Becomes” are composed of the parents and family members of the candidates as a guarantee for the open lists, in which the main names like himself, but also Endri Shabani and Pano Soko are competing.
“All members of the leaderships of our coalition are competing on the open list, including the leaders. The open list means that the ranking of the candidate does not matter. In the end, the ranking will be made according to the votes each one receives”, Adriatik Lapaj further explains.
