Arben Malaj, invited to the studio of “Off the Record” by Andrea Danglli, on A2 CNN, shared the debate he had with Prime Minister Edi Rama on the modernization of the Socialist Party.

“I had the idea that the SP had to be democratized before coming to power, while Rama had the idea that we should come to power once and then democratize. When everyone is discussing today why inequality has deepened, one of the theses is the dissolution of the unions. There are no longer parties that negotiate with each other. Usually, employers do not want unions. Having SP representatives and saying that unions hinder the economy means that the division between the right and the left has been erased”, explained Malaj.

“It is the leadership model that was created. Everyone is concerned about survival. Not having a proper career, not coming from the SP Academy, they see their fate only in the leader. The campaign that started in the SP with the arrival of Edi Rama was against the “old jackets”. In fact, we were about 50 years old, people with integrity”, added Malaj.

The member of the Socialist Party also spoke about what is wrong with the Justice Reform.

“SPAK is not an Albanian solution, but an adaptation of a program to cleanse the justice system of corruption. There are 140 thousand files waiting, with 3 people per family there are 420 thousand people in court. The worst thing is that there are problems with property and dismissals. Albanians leave not only for salaries, but they do not find institutional and legal respect. We have very acute problems in the public administration and the judiciary”, said Arben Malaj.
