Former Justice Minister Ylli Manjani has decided not to go to the ballot boxes in the May 11 elections.

“I want to see the elections as coldly and completely without emotion,” he said on his Facebook account, where he announced his decision for these parliamentary elections.

Pessimistic about the political forces in our country, Manjani refers to the party lists as “without eyes, ears and mouths.”

Manjani’s full reaction:

I voted in every election. I thought I had done my duty to democracy. Come on, I did well! This time I have decided not to vote.

I have no one to vote for. I refuse to vote for the lesser evil, even in the name of rotation. In fact, I no longer believe that there is rotation even if the Socialist Party and Rama are no longer in government.

Nothing changes. The same things. The same anger. Even the same faces.

There is no political group that would motivate me to leave the house on election day. The left and the right are oregano gas.

All parties rush to show us how good they are with America. They even spend money to provide a little America in their poor and very poor political lives.

No party produces the main thing: politics.

Not even a single good MP with personality and opinion gets anywhere. All list-makers without eyes, ears, or mouths.

Why should I vote?! Useless talk. Completely useless. No, no. My vote is worth more than that. So I have no intention of casting it.

I want to see these elections as coldly and completely without emotion as possible. I have made up my mind. I am not voting!
