A sad and unimaginable story of the Hoxhaj family from the city of Vlora. Toni, 19 years old, orphaned after the death of his father in 2017, wants to continue his late father’s profession, in car service, together with his younger brother. The premises that his father Mersini used are located within the property of his grandfather, Hiqmet Hoxhaj.
After Mersini’s death, the latter promised his son’s daughter-in-law and grandchildren that they would inherit the property left by their father, but he did not keep his promise. The reason is the new relationship that the children’s mother created after the death of her husband when she was only 33 years old. The children, together with their mother, tried to convince Grandpa Hiqmet to allow them to enter the property and to be able to develop the car service business in the “1 maji” neighborhood in Vlora, but the grandfather insisted on the opposite.
When the Piranjats asked for a statement from him, he claimed that his grandson had insulted and hit him, but apart from this reason, he, together with his wife, the children’s grandmother, made it clear that things had broken up between them after Marjola, the children’s mother, had formed a new relationship.
During the moments when the grandson, Toni, tried to enter the property, the grandfather used various words insulting his grandson, and even notified the Police to arrest him. The two went to the police station together in the hope of resolving this conflict, but nothing happened. The grandson will continue to demand the denied right while the grandfather will continue to occupy the property, not letting the children enter it.
