Since Sali Berisha was sentenced to house arrest by court decision, Kadri Roshi came to me in association with him. In the same way, due to the great talent he displayed, among the actors of the National Theater there were many envious and angry people against him. They didn’t want to have it on stage, so they started the classic methods of those years. With anonymous letters filled with slander, with denunciations on unknown facts, and in some cases, unfortunately, they succeeded. In some parts, the great artist did not take any role, he was sidelined. But in a few moments, after the art lovers looked for him and it was seen that that institution was losing value due to the absence of this artist, the way was opened. Kadriu was allowed to demonstrate his artistic potential. Today he talks to us with emotion from the films we see between the screens.
Berisha is following his fate in the same way. Pallavra are the allegedly corrupt facts, mysybete are the state’s explanations. The point is; to this day, this personality exposes the regime’s achievements and his word mobilizes Albanians to repel evil. And instead of the government competing with the opposition for the good of Albania, it is a crutch. With fabrications or spit welds that don’t stick at all to popular perception. So much fear of Berisha that they locked him in his apartment, stopped meetings with his associates and want to remove him from the voters. This is what happens when mediocre people want to stick their butts to chairs. They do not approach alternatives, hope, values, but find the short solution, the most harmful one. They are comfortable with the competitions they will participate in, so they want to play football with only one goal.
Today, Rama feels safe, but he forgets that the Albanian song has the lines:
