The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime has upheld the decision for the former prefect of Kukës, Granit Gjana.

We recall that SPAK started investigations against Giana at the time when he was the deputy mayor of Kukës Municipality in connection with a tender for the purchase of fuel worth 21,000,000 ALL.

The prosecution says that there is reasonable doubt that Gjana, by not performing his functional duties, has harmed a company that wanted to be a participant in the auctions for the purchase of fuel.
