The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, says that he has expressed his solidarity with former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who is under house arrest.
In a conference with journalists, Meta says the arrest of Sali Berisha is a political persecution to hit the opposition.
Edi Rama is responsible, who according to him has seized justice and exerts pressure.
“We have been greeted, I have expressed my full solidarity. We are dealing with a political persecution and an attempt to undermine the opposition in our country. All these are dictated by Edi Rama through the capture of justice and through all the pressures he exerts in this direction”.
Regarding the electoral reform, Meta said: We are very clear about the electoral reform. Rama has no interest in reform, because he has no interest in free elections. We remain open to free elections, to guarantee the right to vote.
